I'm trying out robin.live, which was demoed at #FediverseHouse today. The "about" page says that it will only show posts that are "pushed to it." (whatever that means) I wonder if this post will show up?

@jerry Thanks! Yeah, my post wound up there -- even though I had temporarily set my set my "privacy and reach" settings to turn off "Include public posts in search results" and "Feature profile and posts in discovery algorithms".
So at least based on this test it seems "pushed" means "your instance hasn't blocked us yet and we don't care whether you're opting out." The Fediverse is about consent ... except when it isn't.
